Transportation Of Dangerous Goods
Our TDG course Can be offered in a variety of formats:
- worker self study booklets
- Classroom based at MISAFETY or your facility
- Train the Trainer format, once your safety person is trained, they can train your workforce.
This 2-4 hour program covers topics required for anyone involved in the transportation and handling of dangerous goods. Topics include TDG legislation, classification, safety marks, documentation, safe handling, incident reporting and emergency response. Emphasis is placed on proper safety marks for items the participants would normally transport. Proper labeling, classification and vehicle inspection for TDG compliance is covered in detail. Objectives are tested by written competency exam. Certification, valid for three years, is issued on completion of objectives.
Cost: Self study: $22.00+gst/Classroom: $60.00+gst
All customers without an account must pay a 50% deposit upon booking. The remainder will be due and payable upon course completion. All no-shows will be charged a total of 50% of the course cost. Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to course start time in order to receive a refund. Course schedules may change due to special bookings and/or holidays.
This course can be offered on your site with a minimum of 6 students. There is no charge for travel within 100km of Edmonton.
