Safety can be defined as “the state of being “safe”, the condition of being protected against physical, occupational and/or other types or consequences of error, failure, damage, harm accidents or any other situation or event which would be a non desired outcome. Safety can also be defined to be the control of hazards (you must first identify these hazards) to an acceptable level of risk. This can take the form of being protected from the occurrence/event or from exposure to something that causes health or economical losses. This includes the protection of people and possessions.
